St. Therese of Lisieux Primary School, Belfast

Primary Five

Welcome to Primary 5!

Teachers: Miss McMullan & Mrs McCallion

Classroom Assistants: Mrs Ferguson, Ms Bogler, Ms Logan and Mrs O'Boyle

In Primary 5 we aim to give each child a broad curriculum which caters for developing the whole child.

The children begin their journey into Key Stage 2 and consequently are encouraged to become more responsible and independent.

The curriculum is filled with an exciting range of topics including; Egyptians, Earth and Space, Belfast, The Rainforest and Light. The children are provided with opportunities to participate in practical and fun filled activities.

Cross curricular links are made where possible in Literacy, Numeracy, The Arts, The World Around Us, ICT and PDMU to ensure the learning is meaningful for the children. They are also given many opportunities to evaluate their learning in a safe and fun environment.
