Sustrans

Here at St Therese of Lisieux Primary School we are active members of the Sustrans initiative.

Our children are encouraged to walk, cycle or scoot to school throughout the school year.

In 2015, after winning the Bronze and Silver awards we were the first school in Northern Ireland and 19th in the UK to have achieved the Sustrans prestigious Gold award.

During the school year we have many initiatives to promote this healthy travel system including our annual Spooky Cycle, Cycle to Santa, The Big Pedal and Cycle to Summer.

We have cycle racks and scooter pods located around our school that keep your bikes and scooters safe throughout the day while the children are in class.
