Topic of Belfast

P5 have been very busy learning all about ‘Our City’ Belfast. Using local maps, the children discovered street names in the north, east, south and west of our city and composed musical rounds. They researched famous Belfast landmarks, drew amazing pencil sketches and outstanding skylines of our beautiful city.  
P.E. sessions allowed the children to go back in time. They made their own equipment and played games such as  bat and ball, throw and catch and hit the can.  It was wonderful to see the children making up new games and having so much fun playing together.
