What a start to 2025 for P5! We were delighted to welcome local artist, Simon McWilliams, to school for our Belfast art Shared Education lesson with Cavehill PS. We looked at his Belfast based pieces of art and discovered what his inspirations were for his fabulous creations. We also had an Irish lesson from our BEd student, Miss O’Connor who taught us some words and phrases to converse in Irish. P5 have also begun to delve into their new WAU of Belfast, alongside starting division in numeracy and our new Creative Writing focus of Report writing. So proud of our hard workers ⭐️😊
