Our St. Patrick's Day concert was held on Thursday 13th March and what a day of celebration it was! We had a morning and afternoon filled with dance, music, drama and a wee bit of craic from our new P6 compère!
Our school orchestra were in full flow performing 'Dawning of the Day', 'Lannigan's Ball' and a beautiful arrangement of 'The Parting Glass'. Well done to both Primary 4 for their wonderful performance of the story of Saint Patrick and to Primary 5 for taking us back in time with some feet tapping songs of old. Also we had a fantastic group of P7 tin-whistlers who showed some great skill on the tin-whistle, as well as amazing displays of Irish dancing from children across KS2.
A fabulous day of celebration was had by all!
