St Malachy's College Visit during 'Maths Week Ireland'

As part of our celebrations for 'Maths Week Ireland', we had a visit from students from St.Malachy's College, some of whom were past pupils. The students happily gave up their time to plan challenging Money related activities for our P5 and P6 children. The day was a great success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all! This was more than evident by the feedback from the children about what they enjoyed most:
'What I enjoyed most was the maths problems because I like challenges' 
'They helped and gave me a new strategy'
'The way that they were impressed with my sharing of mathematical skills'
'Being able to learn maths from older boys and see how they worked out maths problems'
'They were so kind and gave me advice so that I could get my work done.'
'I thought that they were really friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them and solving problems with them and I want to go to St. Malachy's when I grow up' 
'They were so smart and I will be more than happy to go to their college - see you soon!'
