Primary 7 Gymnastics Foundation Movements

The boys and girls of Primary 7 have been working through a series of fundamental positions. In this session, the boys and girls focussed on the tuck position. The focus on creating a tight and compact position with the knees brought in tight to the body was carried out using free-hanging ropes, parallel benches and Swedish ladders.  

These activities allowed the children to focus on maintaining good posture through their core and improving their core stability.
