The time has finally arrived for our Primary 7 children to leave the nest and spread their wings as they completed their time at St. Therese of Lisieux and move on to pastures new this coming September.
The culmination of their end of year celebrations took place on Thursday 25th of June with our graduation ceremony taking place in the morning followed by their celebration disco that afternoon. Both celebrations were emotional events for many different reasons. For some families it was their eldest child who was moving on and for other families, it marked the end of their official affiliation with the school. Fond memories for all for a plethora of reasons.
The morning graduation ceremony was a time for reflecting on the children's journey through St. Therese of Lisieux and celebrating the wonderful contributions they have made to school life during their time. It was also an opportunity to celebrate their many talents through our various awards.
The ceremony as always finished with the traditional tossing of the mortarboard and the many camera flashes and videos.
Following the graduation ceremony, the children changed out of their full brown uniform for the last time and donned their dancing garments for an afternoon of fun, laughs and dancing. Thanks to our very hardworking PTA for arranging the disco and all the sweet treats!
We would like to wish the children the best of luck for their future adventures and have no doubt they will go on to do many great things. Best wishes and good luck.
