P5 trip to UK Space Conference 2023

Mrs McCallion's P5 class were very fortunate to have been selected to attend the UK Space Conference 2023, which was held in Belfast this year. They had an ‘out of this world’ day learning about how astrophysics and satellites contribute to every day life. The children also made rocket launchers and spacecrafts with shock absorbers before getting to meet astronaut, John McFall! What an experience!
