To link our music and WAU topic of Belfast, Primary 5 worked together in groups to compose and perform a rap about our famous city! We listened to a few Belfast street rhymes to identify different rhythms we could use, picked our rhyming words and created a four line repeating structure with one line for each part of the city- North, South, East and West Belfast. After some planning, trying ideas and finding ways to improve our rhymes and raps, each group performed for the class! Some groups even made use of body percussion to underpin their steady, repeating beat! Great work P5 ⭐️👏
