Step back in time with our P4s as they bring history to life! To celebrate their World Around Us theme of WW2, they transformed into evacuees for a special day, complete with luggage labels, flat caps and gas mask boxes.
One of the highlights of the day was their spirited performance of the rationing song, ‘Cheap Veg Soup’. The children did a fantastic job of demonstrating pulse and rhythm, using their voices expressively to capture the "make-do-and-mend" spirit of the 1940s.
From the hearty chorus to the fantastic costumes, P4 truly showed us how to make a meal—and a song—out of very little!
