Numeracy Advent Calendar Competition

A big thank you to all the boys and girls who took part in the ‘Numeracy Advent Calendar Competition’. The children again displayed wonderful problem solving skills! Many of the P1 children were able to calculate how much Mrs. Claus spends on carrots for the reindeer and several P7 children accurately worked out the duration of Santa’s journey home to the North Pole. The effort made by the children to decorate their trees was outstanding – many children got creative with a variety of art materials and some even produced 3D Advent calendars! Here is a selection of entries decorated by our P1 and P4 children, and a 3D creation made by Chrissy in P7. A huge congratulations to our P5 children who submitted the most entries. Here is a photograph of our two happy P5 winners. Congratulations to all the lucky winners of selection boxes!
