MATHS WEEK IRELAND

Congratulations to all the boys and girls who participated enthusiastically in the many activities for 'Maths Week Ireland'. Everyone had fun engaging in problem solving activities, stretching their mathematical skills throughout the week. Every child in the school participated in a mathematics art competition – the results were outstanding! Here are some photographs of the winners and some superb mathematics work which is on display around the school. The lucky winner of the ‘Madlug’ backpack was Sophie in P2! ‘Madlug’ stands for ‘make a difference luggage’ - for every bag purchased a pack away travel bag is given to a child in care. Well done to everyone for the enthusiasm they showed throughout the week!
