MATHS WEEK IRELAND 2024

'Maths Week Ireland' is an all-island initiative promoting positive attitudes towards mathematics and highlighting the importance of mathematics in our lives. Over 500 000 children took part in the event this year. The pupils in St. Therese had a great week of celebrations. The boys and girls participated enthusiastically in the many activities that took place throughout the week: problem solving, creating mathematical designs, and competing in online quizzes and Izak9 events. The younger children enjoyed several storytelling TV broadcasts. There was a great buzz of activity about the school! It is wonderful to see the children becoming confident, competent, problem solvers, developing a range of thinking skills and personal capabilities! Well done everyone!
