In July some of our children from Primary 5 (currently Primary 6) came third in the regional final of the Chinese Bridge competition. They stood out from over 237 participants from across the United Kingdom.
They were invited to an awards ceremony in London on Friday the 7th October, where they received their well earned prizes.
It was a fantastic opportunity for the eight children involved, not only did they get a taste of Chinese culture in China town but they were able to see some London sights during their visit. The children were an absolute credit and super ambassadors for our school.
A huge thank you to The Confucius Institute at the University of Ulster and our Mandarin tutor Miss Dan Xu who helped organise this amazing experience.
