Lent

5th May 2022

The children really enjoyed their pancakes on Shrove Tuesday as they begin on their Lenten Journey.🥞

Lent provided the children with the time to think about and reflect on the Trocaire message for 2022 ‘ A Better Tomorrow’. These lessons allowed the children to share their thoughts on Climate Injustice and to step outside and appreciate the beautiful nature that we have right on our doorstep.

As a class we promised to say a prayer every day at 12pm for ‘Peace’ and we focused on making the right choices by showing love and respect. Finally we participated in a ‘Tranquility for Trocaire Challenge’ donating money to a wonderful charity.

The class finished their journey with extra play for all the ‘Love Points’ they earned during Lent.🥰

Congratulations and Happy Easter.🐣
