The boys from Primary 6 and 7 took part in this years Feile Gerard Lawlor at the Niamh Eanna indoor sports complex.
Normally played as an outdoor tournament, the weather forced this years version to be moved indoors to allow it to go ahead.
With a great representation from schools across North Belfast and Glengormley, the children played in a series of competitive games with the rules focused on developing their tackling and passing skills.
As well as moving indoors, there was also a series of quizzes and activities based on the the history and geography of Ireland.
There were many highlights throughout the day on the pitch. In the classroom, one of our boys was selected as Gaeilgeoir an Lea after his excellent Irish language speaking and engagement with the teachers in Gaelscoil Naomh Eanna.
Well done to all the children who took part for their excellent efforts on the pitch and fantastic manners off it.
