Energise Programme

Miss McMullan’s class has been taking part in the Energise Programme delivered by the Community Sports Network. The programme consists of 6, 1 hour sessions and has been developed in partnership with the Northern Healthier Lifestyle Partnership.

Energise is all about learning through physical activity and teaching the children about nutritional awareness.

The children had so much fun participating in the all the sessions:

1) The sections of the ‘EatWell Plate’

2) The importance of fruit & vegetables

3) Sugars in food

4) Hydration & what we should drink

5) Fats in food

6)How to make your meals healthy
