Last week, the boys and girls from Primary 7 took a trip to our local library on Salisbury Avenue. The purpose of their visit was meet author Csilla Toldy.
Her newest book call Enemy Alien tells the story of a young Jewish boy who survived the Holocaust of WWII. Originally from Kazakhstan, it follows his families journey all the way to Kilkeel in County Down.
The children were able to speak with the author and asked/answered some very challenging questions.
Every child was given a copy of the book to keep and also forms to apply for library membership if they haven’t already got one. The library are very keen to have new members and look forward to engaging in book exchanges with the children going forward.
