Congratulations to our Primary 7 boys who took on Holy Family PS in the first round of the Cyril Murray Cup at the Waterworks today.
In a very competitive game from start to finish the boys managed to emerge with a 2-1 victory.
St Therese started the match with great confidence and took control with a two nil lead that they held until half time.
The second half was very much a to and fro game until midway through when Holy Family managed to score one back to reduce the deficit to one. St Therese were under pressure for the last 10 minutes but managed to stay composed and see out the game to secure their passage to the next round.
Well done to both teams on their great sportsmanship and determination.
