The boys from Primary 7 took part in the North and West Belfast Festival Football Days hosted by Holy Child Primary School at the De La Salle sports complex.
During their group games, the boys showed great organisation, skill and dogged determination to remain undefeated and finished runners up in their group on goal difference.
As a result, they earned a semi-final place against the top finishers in the other group, Christ the Redeemer PS. This game was played at a frantic pace which saw CTR race into a two nil lead within the first three minutes with two fantastic finishes. St Therese came alive at this point, quickly halving the deficit and created many more chances but were just unable to finish to get back level.
It was a great day out for the boys who showed great teamwork, commitment and support for one another. Well done to all who took part and represented the school with great sportsmanship and maturity.
