Belfast City Council Relay Event at Victoria Park

The boys and girls from Primary 6 and Primary 7 took part in the first cross country event of the year at Victoria Park. In a new event for this year, the boys and girls took part in a team relay that consisted of teams of four completing on a 3.2 km course split over four legs. 

With a great representation of schools from right across the Greater Belfast Area the boys and girls gave a great performance in all of the races. They showed great pacing skills and determination to keep going when their little legs were hurting. 

A fantastic effort from everyone involved and we look forward to the next event. Well done!
