P4,P5,P6 & P7 children had a very enjoyable visit from Joe Richardson today. Joe has written two mystery adventure books called ‘The Animal in Amy’ and ‘The Animal in Amy’s Mirror’ and he is currently working on his third novel!
Joe shared interesting animal facts and strategies to control emotions with the children. This included a variety of fun, animal inspired yoga poses. Congratulations to the children that won bookmarks and a signed drawing by the local book illustrator, Roisin Bradley. Joe taught here several years ago and he confirmed our query that the uniform in both book covers was inspired by our school!
