Active learning in P5

We were very fortunate to have a sunny, dry spell of weather, which allowed for lots of outdoor learning activities. The first challenge was a STEM investigation to decide, as a team, how to build a protective Rainforest shelter using a tarpaulin, clamps and bamboo sticks…lots of trial and error in action! We also enjoyed taking part in a Kindergarten Cooks workshop, learning how to weed out planters, plant new seeds and take care of plants which currently feature in our school garden. If we can do it outside, we will! ☘️🌳🌺☀️
